Take a mountain vacation in Bansko in the beautiful Pirin mountains. Mountain Dream is a 4* complex boasting a fitness room, sauna, hot tub, jacuzzi, steam room, restaurant, bar and - opening in Spring 2008 - an 18m diameter swimming pool. F14, our apartment, has 2 bedrooms each with 2 beds which can be pushed together, a double sofabed in the lounge, a quality Blacks camp bed and a cot (plus other facilities for a small child). There are 2 balconies one overlooking the valley and town of Bansko and the other up towards the mountains. We thought of your comfort when we fitted out the apartment with all we could think of to enhance your stay. In summer the quaint and picturesque town of Bansko hosts a number of events including an international jazz festival and a beer festival. You will never go hungry here with over 100 mehanas (taverns) many of which are beautifully and imaginatively decorated. But Mountain Dream is situated above the town at the foot of the Pirin National Park, a UNESCO heritage site, criss cossed with hiking trails and refuges. Hire mountain bikes, relax in a spa, go horse riding or visit the refuge for performing bears but most of all enjoy the clear mountain air and summer sun. Oh and dont forget to come back in winter and ski some of the longest pistes in Europe - 70 km. The minimum booking of 3 nights costs £90 including preparation and cleaning then all following nights are £15pn. |
